These terms are the agreement between you and ALERTFLIP LTD (company number 17442266, registered office 82a James Carter Road, Mildenhall, IP28 7DE, United Kingdom), which runs AlertFlip. By creating an account or using the app you agree to them. Our privacy policy explains how we use your data.

1. Who can use AlertFlip

You must be 18 or over and give accurate details when you sign up, including a mobile number you can receive texts on. Keep your login safe; you are responsible for what happens on your account.

2. What AlertFlip does

AlertFlip watches online marketplaces for listings that match the searches you set up and alerts you when it finds them. It also offers an inventory and profit tracker and a community feed.

• Listings come from third-party marketplaces (eBay, Gumtree and Facebook Marketplace). We do not sell items, we are not part of any purchase, and we are not responsible for the listings, the sellers or anything you buy. Check items and sellers yourself before you buy.
• Listing details, prices, estimates and profit figures may be incomplete, out of date or wrong. They are not financial advice.
• Marketplaces can change or limit access at any time, so we cannot promise that every listing is found or that alerts arrive within a set time.
• AlertFlip is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by eBay, Meta (Facebook) or Gumtree. Their names are trademarks of their owners.

3. Plans, free trial and billing

• Searches run on a paid monthly plan. Prices are shown in the app before you buy, in your local currency. Prices on this website are in US dollars as a guide.
• New members get a free trial when the app offers one. When the trial ends, your plan starts and you are charged unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
• Plans renew automatically every month until cancelled. You are charged within 24 hours before each renewal.
• Payment is taken by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) through your store account. Manage or cancel your plan in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Deleting your AlertFlip account does not cancel it.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their rules. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
• Moving to a higher plan applies straight away; moving to a lower plan applies from your next renewal.

4. Community rules

The feed is for resellers sharing flips and tips. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You must not post or send anything that:

• harasses, bullies, threatens or is hateful towards anyone;
• is sexual, violent, illegal, or promotes illegal activity;
• is a scam, spam, a fake listing, or impersonates someone;
• infringes anyone’s copyright, trademark or privacy, including photos you do not have the right to share.

Use the ··· menu to report a post, comment or person, or to block someone. We review reports within 24 hours and may remove content, and suspend or close accounts that break these rules, without notice.

Think we got it wrong? If we remove your content or restrict your account, email support@alertflip.com and say why. We will look again and reply within 7 days.

Your content. You own what you post. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display and distribute it within AlertFlip, for as long as it stays on the service. You are responsible for what you post.

To report content that infringes your rights or is illegal, email support@alertflip.com with a link or description and your contact details.

5. Using AlertFlip fairly

You must not copy, resell or scrape AlertFlip or its alerts, try to break or overload it, get around plan limits, access other people’s accounts or data, or use it for anything unlawful.

6. Changes, suspension and ending

We may change, add or remove features. If a change significantly affects a paid plan, we will tell you first. You can stop at any time by deleting your account in Settings. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.

7. Liability

AlertFlip is provided as it is and as available. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses from listings, purchases, sellers, missed or late alerts, or third-party services, nor for indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. The app stores

These terms are between you and ALERTFLIP LTD only, not Apple or Google. We, not Apple or Google, are responsible for the app and its content, its maintenance and support, and any claims about it, including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, and intellectual property claims. If the app fails to meet any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price of the app (if any); Apple has no other warranty obligation. You confirm you are not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo, and are not on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. You must also follow the store’s own terms of use.

9. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you may also bring a claim in your local courts.
